Beyond Bible Study 2018

This month, we’re focusing on helping others & showing compassion, understanding & generosity to those in need. We’re called to be a blessing to those around us. As a church, we can reach out to our community & show people the love of Christ in practical ways.

Ephesians 4:32 (AMP)

“Be kind and helpful to one another, tender-hearted [compassionate, understanding], forgiving one another [readily and freely], just as God in Christ also forgave you.”

Philippians 2:4-5 (TPT)

“Abandon every display of selfishness. Possess a greater concern for what matters to others instead of your own interests. And consider the example that Jesus, the Anointed One, has set before us. Let his mindset become your motivation.”

Mark 10:45 (TPT)

“For even the Son of Man did not come expecting to be served by everyone, but to serve everyone, and to give his life as the ransom price in exchange for the salvation of many.”

1 Peter 4:10 (NLT)

“God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.”

Romans 12:9-13 (NLT)

“Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically.”

Ephesians 4:28 (TPT)

“If any one of you has stolen from someone else, never do it again. Instead, be industrious, earning an honest living, and then you’ll have enough to bless those in need.”

Hebrews 6:10 (NIV)

“God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.”

Matthew 25:40 (NIV)

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”
